I have been a Special Educaiton Paraprofessional at Southwest Elementary School since August 2016. While I always saw my teaching career taking place in a high school setting, but my time at Southwest has shown me how much I enjoy working with younger children. Their optimism and enthusiasm for learning is incredible, and every achievement is monumental to them, and that fills my heart with joy. Ensuring that students gain a love for learning early is key to their future academic success, and I have loved being a part of that process in both the classroom and one-on-one setting while in my role at Southwest. I am eager and excited to take the next steps and see this growth in a classroom of my own.
